I absolutely loved this book, it’s everything Slaughter does best.
The dark mind twisting storytelling that kept me hooked and turning the pages.
The characters in this book are real, raw and relatable, you can relate to some of the hardships and relationships in False Witness. It’s a dark and twisted story, that is Karin Slaughter at her best.
From the very first page you get sucked in and aren’t quite sure of what is happening, it did leave me with that sense of discomfort as things didn’t seem quite what you thought. The relationships Karin writes reach you in a place some books simply can’t, how you can like a character to begin with then as you read you find yourself changing your mind as the truth starts being revealed.
I would definitely recommend for people to read the trigger warnings before starting False Witness as some of the content may not be suitable for all readers.
But for fans of dark, brutal and twisted crime novels this is a definite must read.
