Oh my word, oh my word. This book had me at the title bringing memories of my Guyanese mother flooding back! Such a simple and beautifully put together book. The pictures to go with the narrative, help bring this whole kitchen to live and I can imagine the smells in all their glory. Now I'm hungry!
