A fantastic and cute book that is very colourful and bright that will help young readers engage with it.
Learning about other cultures is something I enjoy doing with my children and this book is no exception.
The main character is relatable and my children enjoyed learning about his journey and adventures with his family. It portrays the message that family is important, and food is something helps families bond. Food is glue essentially and it needs to applied as often as possible to help keep families together. The book also teaches about independence.
The illustrations and artwork are very well done and seem to leap off of the page at the reader.
There is also a lovely recipe at the very end of the book for lime cookies that can make with your family with simple instructions which looks very delicious, so we are going to make it this weekend and read the book again!
