This definitely was not aimed at me or my age range however I wanted a copy to gift to my friends daughter but I also really wanted to know what the recipe at the back of the book was! I have taken note and will definitely be making some myself. This was a cute book especially for children to learn to read or being read to. It's a different book to most and will be relatable to a lot of kids either because they recognise themselves and their culture or because it is about expressing yourself. The pictures are bright and colourful making this very eye catching and the actual words are simple and easy to read. I like that there's no rhyming in this and I love the focus on the family relationship, culture, food and learning to express yourself in different ways. It's an inclusive book to inspire the younger generation and I think parents will love to read this to their kids
