Super cute book with includes a lot of diversity and can be very educational for younger POC to read and look up to, I also enjoyed the fact that the character Faruq was excited and happy to help and watch his grandma, it can encourage younger children to be proud of their heritage and everything that their culture has as it can be difficult if there is not many book around this specific kind of representation in terms of food, I was embarrassed to bring different food to school because of the it was different to put it simply but with books like this it can make children happy that we have many different and lovely food to choose from, I will recommend this book to my siblings to read and get for their children who are starting to get ready to go to school, it is very good for confidence and not being ashamed of who they are and I hope this can be the case for many others.
