I absolutely adored the drawings and illustrations in this book.
This new book what brings me memories for my friends and neighbours and the story’s they tell me of home. It must be a universal experience to have a grandmother who cooks for the family. I like how the dialogues for the grandmother is made to sound ethnic, it’s different.
This book definitely brought me on an imagination and adventure. I think a child’s relationship with their grandparent(s) is a bond that can be truly cherished.
I gave this book to my two young nephews who are 5 and 7 and they loved the learning culture side.
Would be good to introduce words from other languages as well.
This could make the book more interesting that way. Would be good to insert a few fun facts also?
