The characters of McCoy and Murray are well drawn and their exchanges sharp and well written - I'm interested in them as much as in the development of the story. The plot is well established and the pacing excellent. The foreshortened sentences in the first chapter were annoying, somewhat like a verbal twitch. Good cover - appropriately dark.
