First impressions are that this is a gruesomely gory read and would I be able to even finish the preview. The lead character McCoy, at first, didn't appeal however as the initial storyline evolved I found myself intrigued and curious about this man. The darkness you of the storyline, set against the backdrop of Glasgow did make me mutter to myself "there's been a murrrrrddddeeerrrr" (shades of Jim Taggart)!
