Although I haven't read Bloody January, having read the opening to this second book in the series I felt immediately drawn into the story and now feel that I want to get to know more about Harry McCoy and his team! A gritty, no holds barred Scottish-noir novel, especially one set in the 70s, when political correctness hadn't appeared on the radar, promises to be a very satisfying read!
