Although it does sound extremely violent, it has all the appearances of being a winner going by the small extract that I’ve read, and it had me wanting more, and that’s always a good sign. There’s a great protagonist, and what appears to be a gripping storyline. In addition, I’ve read the first in the series - Bloody January, and have to say Parks is a great writer!
