When Harry McCoy and Murray are called into investigate a case in Glasgow of a local footballing celebrity bring gruesomely butchered things turn sinister as this is not an isolated incident.
More "bodies" are turning up but that is not all, even the local gang mobsters and their henchmen are being targeted.
What is going on?
Is this a simple case of gang warfare and territory disputes gone wrong and taken a little too far or is it something more?
I really loved the character of Harry McCoy as he seemed a very relatable, flawed character instead of just being this determined cop on the case and the 70s backdrop really suited all the happenings.
This was a taut thriller set amidst the world of gangs, mobsters, drink and drugs.
A very dark, moody novel and I look forward to reading his other work.
