February Son is the second book the author has done. I hadn't read the first book and thought it maybe hard to get the story, but reading the whole book it made some sens without reading the first. Will still recommend reading first one.
The book is set in 1970s Glasgow, and the city is the main plot the city's dark side with drugs, gangs and violencer.
The main character is Harry McCoy a detective with a not so good past, one of these cases catches up with him in this book. The book is a violent murder and Harry is called back to work after leave due to previous case. He is a good and bad cop. he takes drugs and will happyly fight dirty, he just wants justice and help thouse that can't fight for them self's. murders still happens and He keeps in going even though he has his own problems. Lots of violent details, even made me squirm a bit.
