What first attracted me in this book was the cover, I loved how sinister it looked and I knew I had to read it, it made me too curious although it was not really my kind of book, I so enjoy a thriller – crime story from time to time but not such a violent one.

Anyhow, I started reading and I thought it was very interesting, well-structured and kept be hooked from the beginning, you just want to keep reading so you can find out more.

What made it really difficult for me was the slang, English is not my native language so the Glasgow expressions made me lose interested or skim those parts as I was losing patience. It was set in 1970 so not only was the action 50 years ago, but it was packed with references I did not understand.

All in all, it was a good read, I was captivated at the beginning but I lost interest round the middle. Good plot twist.
