I really enjoyed this book and would definitely recommend it to people who like to read about crime. The story takes place in 1970s in Glasgow. Harry McCoy has a new case a rising young footballer has been murdered and a message has been carved into his chest. The footballer also happens to be engaged to a woman called Elaine who just happens to be the daughter of a Glasgow gang-lord. The book has a lot of violence and bad language in it so might not suit everyone, this didn’t bother me. There is a book before this one which people should read before reading this book. But I enjoyed it despite not having read the first book first. I am looking forward to more books coming out and hope they are as good as this one
