I have not read anything by this author before but l certainly will again ! This book was absolutely brilliant !! It felt like you were actually in 1970,s Glasgow. This book was one l couldn't put down it was gripping. I have already looked up this author online and have put his other books on my wish list ! This book makes you think about how times have changed ( thankfully for the better ! ) since the 1970,s . This story was really well written and a definate page turner ! You really got to understand the main character and his friendship with his friend who was on the wrong side of the law most of the time. There is also a bit near the end when you get to know a bit more about the relationship between the main character and his boss. Loved this book
