Not an author I am familiar with but I like the opening of the story-line.
The investigation into a missing girl/ murder victim leads Alex to potentially look at a cold case to find the perpetrators dubbed "the beasts" . Are there going to be more disappearances and murders and where will the investigation lead. Will Alex be able to solve a crime that foiled police before? Could this be the case that cracks open "the beasts" from the cold case. We won't know until the conclusion.
Quite compelling from the outset. I am hoping this is a real page turner and a potential new author for me to follow. The cover is very inviting and quite sinister but in a subtle way. Looking forward to reading the full version
