I love books which start straight in action. Even though it's normally a bit confusing, Final 7 is clear to understand, and it really sets the scene.
I like the fact that this is a 'modern' book (in London) even though it seems to have the feel of a dystopian novel, with the wall being built etc. I think this has a lot of potential!
