I was not aware that this book was part of a trilogy when I received it, so I was hesitant to start reading because I was worried that I wouldn't understand it. It would be a bit like reading the final Harry Potter book first - everything would be confusing, and also spoiler alert!
But I did read this book despite my worries, and I actually thought it was very good! I liked the premise, and the author has a great writing style that gripped me and made the events that transpired more interesting.
I will, however, still need to read the first and second book - so I'm looking into ordering then now.
The cover, I feel, could be a bit more interesting or exciting - that way it will grip more people in.
