The opening sentences takes the reader straight to a graphic murder. A very gruesome description of a hand saw cutting into skin and bone and from there takes us to a demonstration near St James's Park where a masked group, cloaked in black ask Detective Sergeant Zain Harris if he has any weed.
Not the most sensitive beginning to a book and it probably won't be for anyone who doesn't like violence and bad language, but I'm intrigued and would love to read the whole book now my appetite is whetted.
