The book is set rather modern.
This is not the type of book i would read as i find these books too dark and chilling. Reading the chapter it starts off straight into the action but then when you read on more it just starts to get a bit boring and just has some parts which feel like they just dragged on a lot. I was not keen on the bad language as i find it off putting and unnecessary. The more i kept on reading the more i felt the story was not getting anywhere. I did get a bit confused towards the middle section of the book as i didn't quite get what was happening properly. I would like if the book was more fast paced and had more adventure in it and would get rid of the bad language and its not something i would want to read again.
