Wow, this book actually blew me away. I struggled to get into the first few chapters but very quickly I was picking up the pace and pretty much carried the book everywhere with me.
I found the writing fast- paced and captivating. It was a different kind of murder plot with twists and turns at every angle. I never saw the ending coming even when I was reading it. The last 100 pages went so fast as I couldn’t put the book down.
The characters were well written and had their own back stories so it wasn’t the normal set up with relationships within the force. I found Riley and Harris to be 2 fantastic characters that you could actually picture and feel for.
Alex Caan is an amazing author and definitely one for the shelves and book clubs. I loved this book
