Great storyline but detectives not original
Thank you readers first for a chance to read a copy of first to die.
I really liked the concept of this story; first victim of a man made virus found in a very public area- are the general public in danger? Then as the story unravelled we learnt of some very tragic characters hell bent on revenge and the means to extract it. The story itself is genius, original and engrossing and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, my bug bear is with the two dectevtives: both headstrong and damaged with chequered pasts and fingers poised in their own self destruct buttons. To have two such detectives working together who’s stories and perspectives are being told separately just seemed a little over kill to me.
