This is the second Riley and Harris novel. I enjoyed the first one and was looking forward to the follow up.Bonfire night in St James park and protesters in a stand off with police mix with families enjoying the fireworks.A body is discovered and Kate and Zain are called in to investigate . The corpse is that of a senior civil. A lethal and highly contagious virus is found. Kate and Zain are puzzled about the motive but must find the killer before the virus spreads
I enjoyed this book Zain and Kate are likeable characters and the relationship between them is interesting. The addition of a contagious virus adds to the tension and makes it different and more interesting. I recommend this book and hope there will be more Riley and Harris novels to follow.
