Quite good
This is the second book from Alex Caan and I think there are indications in it that Alex will be a popular writer in the future.
This novel starts on Bonfire Night in St James’s Park which is filled with thousands of Anonymous protestors wearing masks. A body is discovered and behind the mask the body has dissolved. Kate and Zane identify the victim as a senior civil servant but are hampered in their investigations by Government cover ups and fear of a virulent contagious virus. The plot is well crafted but I felt it came to an end too abruptly.
I quite enjoyed the book and suggest it would be a pleasant companion on a long journey. But It doesn’t make me want to dash out and read his earlier book.
