Great book from start to finish. Slowish start but important for the background and learning about the characters. I liked the short chapters as it kept the reader interested by switching between point of views and giving a different insight. The science in the novel was written really well and gave the book a real edge. I found the reason by the murder really surprising and really interesting. Something we can all empathise with.. the loss of a child.
I liked Zain and Kate as imperfect characters, with their own flaws which made them much more relatable.
A slow burner but actually a really enjoyable novel in the end. I finished it within a day and couldn’t put it down! I would definitely recommend to others.
