I was surprised when reading the beginning since I also find Christian books preachy and avoid them when I'm able to but here it wasn't so in your face.
I like that this book is so clear about what it was, that it alone isn't going to fix all of lives problems and enable the everyday person to suddenly be cured. While it isn't for me and not something I need in my life right now I understand why other people would, and I see it doing its job pretty well.
