Firstly, I'd like to say that I enjoyed this book. I haven't read many self help books, so going into this one I was already on the fence. I found the book accessible and easy to read. I liked the humorous style and found it refreshing. However, lots of the advice that Dr Richard Pile gave was common knowledge: get more sleep, have a healthy diet and have better time management. There wasn't any groundbreaking wisdom. It's clear that one of the main goals of this book is to stress the importance of accepting people and allowing people to be who they are. Which I agree is a great message and should be spoken of more but he doesn't give much advice for when the message isn't being conveyed. In addition to this, I've spotted some contradictions where the writing comes across as offensive or judgmental. Over all, I found the book interesting. Thank you to Readers first for the copy!
