I really wish I could like this book, I could put aside all the heavy Christianity in this book quite easily, the author himself even promises an experience free from judgement or criticism about religion and yet right smack bang in the middle of the introductory chapters, he goes on a full rant about "godless religious and their weirdo customs" to paraphrase.
I honestly have never closed a book quicker in my life than I did in that moment. If I buy a book about health and wellbeing, I don't expect a diatribe about what an author considers right or wrong in terms of religion. Even as a Christian myself, I found it so bigoted and off-putting.
It really is a shame for me, as there seems to be a lot of good, sound advice throughout the book, if the author could learn some objectivity, then it could be an amazing book, and resource for anyone who feels close to giving up with their health.
