It was an unnecessary read

I felt this book was just a repeat of everything we already know about health. Stuff I could have easily found in a magazine article online. It just felt like a lot of preaching about how to control stress, when it's not as easy as that. I was interested in what was discussed about religious fitness, and have started to value it much more than I used to. Otherwise, the stuff about physical fitness felt really basic, like yes exercise is important. It's also important to take breaks for your mental health.
I kind of wish he discussed more clear tips about how to best maintain our overall fitness. Not more general information. What foods do you recommend, what types of exercise, what types of mental health days? I am usually not a fan of self-help books and this book has only really pushed me to continue having that opinion. It feels like something easily accessible online and perhaps even more in-depth online.
