Whilst I enjoy nonfiction perhaps more than the average reader - I am currently reading two nonfictions, one about ants and the other about a poem - I detest older men telling me how I should live my life. I know, I know he is an experienced professional but I need real therapy and one book won't solve all my problems. Especially as he is a man - I don't trust them, full stop. I have a friend who is really into mindfulness, and one who hates it. Of the two, I am closer to the latter. It may be because I have problems getting out of bed, finding the will to do my university work and struggle with eating three, healthy meals a day that this book could be useful for me but I won't read it. Perhaps in the end, that's exactly why I should read it but I am stubborn and will try other routes to heal myself rather than this book. Sorry if that seems rude but I just don't want to read this.
