Fit For Purpose by Dr Richard Pile - I was given this book by a friend after a conversation about health and wellbeing. She did, however, warn me that it wasn't for everyone. I was rather sceptical I admit, as I would not normally read a self help type of book, but I did read it and found it interesting and informative in parts.

Looking into his background as a busy GP and family man, who admits that he doesn't always have the correct work/life balance, made me read on. It's nice to know we are all human and don't always do the things we know are right for us!

He addresses the factors which have a huge impact on our lives; diet/nutrition, physical activity, the importance of sleep, etc. Things we may already know, but if we want to improve our wellbeing, then these are the things we should be concentrating on and changing.

I am glad I read this, I especially liked the spiritual parts but I am not sure if it will appeal to all.
