I liked the writing style, it feels personal like Dr Richard Pile is directly talking to you, I particularly liked that he tells his story about his family and children, as this brings us closer to him.

There wasn't solid information on 'how to' with this book, I didn't particularly learn loads of new things but there were some things I thought was a nice refresher. The suggestions that Dr Pile gives isn't harsh or pushy, he breaks it down into smaller tasks and makes you think that anyone can do this.

There were a lot of Biblical references within the book, I am not a religious person and therefore couldn't see the relevance or connect with Dr Pile in this aspect but I appreciate that religion helped him through tough times.

Overall, I had mixed feelings towards this book. There were a lot of references to other books also, I personally think you're better off reading those.
