I've pushed myself to read this book and it might be just because It wasn't meant for me, but I didn't like the style or the writing or the story.
Whilst the title has a proven ability to makes you believe it will be only about healthier lifestyle, it takes pages over pages until that happens.
There was just too much about the doctors lifestyle and how his family is getting along with him being unbearably not mentally present. Whilst I know the saying "your story can help others" this wasn't really my case. The doctor is as understood with a very strict stereotypical background and he has indulge a strong outlook on how religion is an important outlook on your outlook on life, I just don't think it's the case.
Religion doesn't determine your level of your comfort in performing a healthy lifestyle and it shouldn't make me doubt myself that if I don't believe in God, I have no chance to speak on my own behalf of overcoming addiction or introducing a strict routine!
