The 12 chapters in this book are a decent size for me, I don't find them too long winded and the terminology is not too technical. Therefore, I think it's perfect for a wide audience.

Although this book looks at physical and mental health, there are some references to faith and the Bible.
I am not religious, but I also didn't find this deterring because I think it's important for us to understand that our beliefs aren't everyone's beliefs. We can often substitute 'the bible' for something else we believe in (another religious text or just our own power). It often happens that mental health and faith can go side by side for some people and it's an obstacle we need to be able to acknowledge openly.

I like that this book covers sleep hygiene, pain, mental health, loneliness and even a chapter on living in a pandemic. It's easy to refer backwards and forwards to the areas that are relevant to you at different times.

The fact this book is written by a doctor and is both personal but also generalisable is very helpful.
However, for those people into self help it may not be anything new and serves more as a text to pick up when you need a push or gentle reminder. But for people who are looking to START their journey to a better them, this is a good place to go.
