I'll be honest and say that had this book not been on Readers First, I am unlikely to have come across it. I don't read very many non-fiction books and am often highly sceptical of health and wellbeing style books as often I find there to be quite a lot of pseudoscience and 'faddish' nonsense so tend to stay well away. When this came up for a first look, I thought the blurb sounded quite interesting and perhaps less radical than other similar themed books. It is a new approach to wellbeing and, given how society has moved away from religion holding as important a position in daily life, quite a bold move to put religious elements within. I think there is a lot of useful advice within and the style of the book is such that you can dip in and out or as required. It is nice to see someone within healthcare with appropriate qualification writing rather than someone with a google degree!
