Children will love this book. It has limited dialogue / script, so is great for small children's attention spans. The "lift the flap" pictures provide the activity that also focuses the child's attention and avoids the fidgeting! Penguins are always popular, as evidenced by the crowds who watch the ever popular penguin parade at Edinburgh Zoo. They have so much character, and so appeal to children very much. The other animals that appear are also popular, the robin red breast, squirrels, rabbits and so on, will appeal to the children so much. The illustrations are wonderful, and detailed without being cluttered. This is a great book and I am sure it will be a success, ad one that children will cherish and return to often.
