Beautifully Illustrated - Looks To Be A Perfect Winter Read For Toddlers

This looks as if it will be a lovely short winter read for young children. The story is basically the ‘Five Little Ducks’ rhyme changed around to fit penguins instead but it works wonderfully. It has the sort of rhythm and rhyme that makes it instantly engaging and perfect to read aloud. The illustrations are beautiful and sure to capture a toddler’s attention, especially with the inclusion of flaps that make books even more interactive for them. As long as the flaps are sturdy enough in print – toddlers aren’t always particularly gentle with their books – then I honestly do think that this would make a lovely winter treat for young book lovers.
