Five Little Penguins looks like a lovely book. The rhyming song style writing sounds like it would be loved by the children because of the familiarity whilst also helping them to learn counting and counting backwards. The Penguin theme is lovely for a winter read and it would be great to see all of the other winter animals the penguins meet. The children would love the flaps in the book as these are a great way to keep the children involved in the story and it always excites them to discover what's behind each one. This sounds like a book we'd really enjoy reading and perfect for the cooler months of the year.
