My little boy absolutely loves this! I saved it to give to him for his third birthday earlier this week and I have the feeling it's going to be one of his most favourite books.
Unlike other lift the flap books aimed at his kind of age range, this one had lots going on and lots of interactive things to keep him engaged and wanting to read on too. The flaps were easily manipulated, making it great for a 3 year old.
The pictures were cute, the text was easy to follow, but interesting and the pages were filled with plenty of opportunities to ask questions to help with comprehension, inference, retrieval and understanding as well as the more obvious counting and numerical skills by following the plot.
Overall a really enjoyable interactive read. The adorable wintery characters would make it perfect as a gift to give at Christmas! A fantastic read.
