I thought this was a really fun book for little ones. I read it with my niece and nephew who are 3 and 5 and they really enjoyed it. The illustrations are really good and colourful and the pop up flaps made it more fun for the children as they could interact with it and have fun rather than just listen.
The story was simple but fun. I definitely recommend this as a children’s book, great for families. I think my niece and nephew enjoyed it even more because it is snowy where they live so they could picture little penguins running around.
It was maybe a little too young for the 5 year old so might suit a younger audience better but he still enjoyed it.
They wanted to read it again and again which is always a great sign with young children.
They liked the characters and the pictures and lifting the flaps up loads and I’ll keep reading it too then till they’re bored
