I’d have to say that to a decent children’s story book. This book is appropriate for children aged three to six. I would say it’ll be helpful in teaching them how to count and also identify the different types of animals.
I find the art style to be okay, nothing extraordinary. However, I like how the penguins had a variety of friends, the rabbits were especially cute! The part where they were building a snowman was also very adorable. In a way the book also shows children to be responsible (coming home to the mom etc.). I felt bad for the poor Mama penguin. I can understand how frustrating it must be to always be on the lookout for one’s children.
The book could be a little more creative in my opinion. Maybe adding more adventures or perhaps giving its readers more interactive stories to read from as kids these days seem to be easily unimpressed. Overall, still a fun book!
