My daughter loves this book. The pictures are beautiful and my youngest was excited to count down from five, she was excited at each page turn to guess the next number of penguins left. It was a simple concept and shirt book but the flaps were a great addition to add sone excitement. Even my oldest daughter loved it and peeping under the flaps, never too old for those. The theme was very snowy and it was a giveaway for the end, spoiler, does mention Christmas which my daughter guessed and was very excited for. The illustrations were a little giveaway as they were very themed but it was a lovely simple story and would make a great sticking filler or Christmas Eve story before bed. Would recommend for young children as helps with numbers and the pictures are endearing and ofcourse the flaps are great for engaging young kids, can't go wrong with this as a gift
