This book was so,lovely, brightly coloured with lots of lift-up flaps which young children love. The story was based on the classic Five Little Ducks and also had a Christmas theme running through it. The print was engaging and large so it’s easy to teach children to read. What a great idea I do hope there will be more like this to come. It’s the sort of book that will stay with generations of families for years to come. This book will go on my shelf right beside the classic Five Little Ducks.
I loved the way the story unfolded and it will keep children interested and will be excited to find out what happens in the end. The last page was wonderful with the Christmas ending, just perfect.
The Penguins were all great characters and were very funny too. I loved the rhyming that went through the book which will mean children will remember it better.
