I love this book, it’s brilliant for introducing mathematical concepts of one less/ one more and counting to my preschool aged children and it has a fun little tune you could sing or rhyme it to, along with exciting flaps for them to open and make guesses as to what could be hiding behind them which is brilliant for promoting speech and language skills. The pictures are adorable and the story is perfect for fitting in with our current winter theme. It would make a brilliant Christmas present for any little one. I loved how simple it is and yet the children love to engage with it and read it over and over again. The front cover is perfect, makes it easily recognisable to them and they will go and select it off the shelf themselves! Well written, great book that I would highly recommend to anyone that asked! Definitely give it a go, you won’t regret it!
