This is a gorgeous children's book and I was delighted to receive a copy. I shared it with my nephew who is only one year old but he delighted in the pictures and seemed really engaged when I read it to him. The illustrations are really special and we both loved looking at them as we read the story. In my opinion this book is good for 0 to 5 year old children. It is a lovely story, just the right length to keep them entertained. I would be interested in reading and purchasing more books by this author in the future and I think they would make very special gifts. I can also imagine this book being popular in a pre-school or nursery setting. It is a light-hearted, enjoyable read. I have always liked 'lift-the-flap-books' although there is a risk that they may be easily damaged by younger children. The rhyming nature of the story makes it even more enjoyable and engaging. Overall a very good book that I would definitely recommend to others.
