Kids will love this! It’d be perfect for a christmas gift. The book is a simple walk through adventure. Encourages the reader to count the penguins on each page, great for teaching numbers & addition. However, doesn’t push the idea of learning onto the reader (children), just subtly creates the opportunity for it in a fun and engaging way. The paper flaps are exciting and keeps kids interested. Opportunities to learn new animal names & facts along the way. Lovely for the christmas holiday season with the winter wonderland feel. A super sweet but simple story with the perfect artistic touch in the illustrations. Consistent rhyming throughout. It’s colourful, it’s cute and it is full of imagination. Perfect for a three year old. Lily Murray books are loved by children, this is another great addition. A great introduction to reading :)
