Written to the same rhyme as five little ducks this is a lovely and heart warming interactive ‘open the flap’ book to share with your child/ren.
The pictures are cute, colourful and engaging. Featuring all manner of nature and many cute wintery animals like a snowy owl and a family of beavers. The rhyming nature of the story makes for a fun and engaging read for young children, also introducing them to numbers and counting.
The flaps to lift are of varying sizes which adds to the fun and there’s a lovely little Christmas themed ending to the story too.
My daughter is probably slightly over the target age group at aged 6 but she’s chosen this book as her bedtime story for the last three nights and we probably both know the story off by heart already. As it’s a paperback it’s probably best for ages 2-4 but can easily be enjoyed by kids a couple of years older!
