As soon as I saw this book, I imagined that it was going to be great fun.
I was so right. I have just read it. WOW, so lovely, so sweet. The illustrations are really cute, so, well drawn. It is definitely the PERFECT book to give to a small child. I am sure it will become the favourite story for Christmas time. My children are older now, but, I am sure, if they were little, I would make it the tradition.
You can sing it to your children, or read it. It is very useful to do some maths helping them to count along. It made me very curious to get to the end of the book, as Mama Penguin seemed a bit worried about her little ones. It is also very interesting to teach small kids the names of some other animals and delight them with noises too.
