‘Mummy penguin all alone wishing her chicks would come home’ this is such a sweet book. Illustrations are beautiful. Lovely bed time read for mummy and child with little pop up interactions. I couldn’t recommend this book any more. The fantastic illustrations and simplicity of the story. Easy to follow along for child and a good start to a young child learning to read. Along with the little poem and rhyme of the story it makes it lovely for a child to sing along too and learn the story and begin to make sounds with learning off by heart. Would recommend this book to any parent with children under 5 learning before school. Penguins are so sweet. Included counting and hidden penguins to help with interaction and a child’s ability to find things. Without repeating myself I can’t recommend this book anymore they author has done well with this book.
