The illustrations in this book are so cute and I love that it’s a little rhyme/song. Although I’m not going to lie I was a little bit emotionally invested and worried the little penguins were not going to come back to their momma! Not great if you’re super pregnant and hormonal let me tell you!
The lift the flaps are really great and provide some interaction in addition to the cute story and illustrations
It would be a lovely addition to my baby bookshelf ready for our arrival and I can’t wait to have his grubby hands lifting the flaps.
I’m considering keeping it as a ‘Christmas’ book since it’s winter themed just to make it a little bit more special rather than having it out all year round.
I would definitely consider buying it for other children though and when the appropriate time comes I will be encouraging my social media followers to pick up a copy.
